This series began with a recurring interest in separation and connection.
I work without sketches or predetermined imagery. The paintings develop through an intuitive process in which forms, colors and relationships emerge gradually through response rather than planning.
Much of the work is shaped by an ongoing fascination with how we experience distance and belonging -in relation to nature, to one another and to aspects of ourselves that often remain difficult to define.
Within the paintings, forms gather, drift apart and reconnect. Boundaries appear and dissolve. The spaces between elements become as significant as the elements themselves.
Rather than illustrating a specific idea, the works are an attempt to stay with these questions through color, form and perception. They reflect an interest in how connection can persist even within fragmentation, and how meaning often emerges through relationships rather than isolated parts.
